Can I see it before I pay?

Yes. You discover and preview your star map for free, and choose a size only when you love it.

What if I don't remember the exact time?

That's completely fine. Choose morning, afternoon, evening or night — or “I don't remember at all”. We then show an estimated sky: the stars at a set local time on that date (9:00 AM, 2:30 PM, 7:00 PM or 11:00 PM; 10:00 PM if you don't remember at all). Your preview and your order are labelled “Estimated sky”, never presented as exact.

Is it really the sky from that night?

Yes. Star positions are calculated — never invented or generated by AI — from a catalogue of more than 5,000 real stars, for your date, your place and the local time there (including historical daylight-saving rules), corrected for the slow drift of the sky over the decades. It shows the whole sky above you from horizon to horizon, as if you were lying back and looking up.

What if it was daytime or cloudy?

Your map shows where the stars were, whether or not they could be seen at that moment. Daylight and clouds hide the stars — but they were still there, above you.

What sizes are there?

Four: 8×10 in (20.3 × 25.4 cm), A4 (21 × 29.7 cm), 12×16 in (30.5 × 40.6 cm) and A3 (29.7 × 42 cm). Each comes in a black frame.

Will it make a good gift?

It's one of the most personal gifts there is: their date, their place, their names — the sky of a night that mattered, made for no one else.

Can I change something after I order?

Yes — write to us before your print goes into production and we'll update it. One revision is included. Before checkout you can edit everything from your bag.

How long does delivery take?

Every piece is printed and framed to order, then shipped with tracking. You'll see the delivery estimate at checkout.

Is my information private?

We use your date, place and names only to make your artwork and deliver your order. The exact coordinates of your place are never printed.
